Clearance items are deemed as imperfect, which means that they may have one of the following:

A small dent or scratch, irregularity in the weave a slightly or minor variation of finish of colour. None of these imperfections affect the functionality of this piece.

Items are to be collected at a time made by prior arrangement from our Melbourne warehouse located in Thomastown in Melbourne.

Freight can be arranged, but please note this is an additional cost and as there are no returns on these items, all sales are final /no returns

Details 

Our Arched Wall planter creates a striking backdrop for your plant life. It is suitable for hanging on a wall or can be free-standing on a shelf or any other surface. Offering many options for trailing or leafy plants or a combination of small pots. This piece is handcrafted from rattan which is sourced from sustainable forests in Indonesia. Rattan is a creeping plant or vine, which belongs to the Palm family. It grows upwards and around trees in dense forests. After harvesting, the rattan is then washed, cured & dried before being handcrafted. This planter is 90% handmade by local craftsmen & women who have traditionally used & worked with this natural material for generations. Formed using the traditional steam bending technique, the arch shape is formed by hand using a mould. It is beautifully finished with handwoven rattan binding on each corner. The front and back panels are covered in a close weave webbing, while the base is solid plywood to support your plant life. As a handmade piece each item varies slightly in the way it has been handcrafted, and due to the the natural variation in the rattan.

Materials

Constructed from Rattan. Solid rattan frame with close weave webbing on front and back panels and a solid plywood and close weave rattan base. 

Maintenance

Wipe rattan frame & panels with a soft dry cloth. 

Please note: This item is recommended for indoor or undercover use. It is suggested to remove plants from planter for watering or use a saucer to avoid drainage of water onto woven surface.
