We have a few pieces available deemed as seconds stock. These are now available for a very limited time at an amazing price, until stock is cleared.

Please note : Clearance items are a FINAL sale - no returns. 

Clearance items are deemed as imperfect, which means that they may have one of the following:

A small dent or scratch, a slightly misaligned door or variation to framework a minor variation of finish of colour. None of these imperfections affect the functionality of this piece.

Items are to be collected at a time made by prior arrangement from our Melbourne warehouse located in Thomastown in Melbourne.

Freight can be arranged, but please note this is an additional cost and as there are no returns on these items, all sales are final /no returns

Details

Taken from the french word for "palm", the design of this piece was influenced by a tropical british colonial style, layering texture with plant life. The Palmier Greenhouse utilises the concept of the Wardian case or terrarium, but on a larger scale. It helps to create a temperate environment which assists plants to thrive throughout each season and encourages growth and shelter from changing weather conditions, whilst trapping hydration and moisture. This piece is handcrafted from rattan which is sourced from sustainable forests in Indonesia. Rattan is a creeping plant or vine, which belongs to the Palm family. It grows upwards and around trees in dense forests. After harvesting, the rattan is then washed, cured & dried before being handcrafted. This greenhouse is 90% handmade by local craftsmen & women who have traditionally used & worked with this natural material for generations. With a lift-up door on one side, it can be easily accessed for removal of plants and pots.

Materials

Constructed from Rattan with inset glass panels. Featuring a lift-up hinged door to access your plants, a solid plywood and close weave rattan base and shelf.

Maintenance

Wipe rattan frame & shelf with a soft dry cloth. Glass panels can be cleaned with a cloth & glass cleaner.

Please note: This item is recommended for indoor or undercover use. It is suggested to remove plants from greenhouse for watering to avoid drainage of water onto woven surface.
